Photography assignment: Hockney-like

This years last photography assignment was to create a new image using a minimum of 36 pictures.

My first joiner shows the lighthouse of the Dutch island Schiermonnikoog:

This image was created digitally using Photoshop. For some unknown reason, Photoshop decided it was a good idea to add some weird yellow lines to the document, which I unfortunately didn't see untill the whole thing was printed :-(

My second joiner portrays my cat:

I took these pictures with a digital camera, as I did with the first one as well. Then I printed all the pictures and created the joiner manually.

Photography assignment: Lying on your back

The second photography class assignment was to have a different look at the world around you, by actually lying on your back while taking the pictures. Here are my results!

No. 1: The tower of the church in Sittard by day...

No. 1a: ...and by night

No. 2: Tosca in her new hide out

No. 3: Lying beneath the plant under the open stair case. Who is that guy?!

No. 4: Yuk, that's one dusty radiator...

No. 5: Strong as a house: our dining table

Photography assignment: Faces

My first Photography class assignment ever is done!

The assignment was to photograph 'faces' in all-day life. My five best pictures:

No. 1: my old and dirty cooker hood appeared to have a nice face. It only occured to me that it actually has a greasy nose as well while taking the pictures :-)

No. 2: our living room ceiling with a smoke alarm, two ventilator exits and a ceiling lamp makes a rather grumpy face.

No. 3: a power socket

No. 4: someone got creative with one of the messaging boards at school...

No. 5: my kitty's super awesome food mess prevention plate with two eyes and a smiley mouth.
